When: 11/19/2005 - 11/19/2005
Where: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

NEVER SURRENDER - Saturday November 19th, 2005 Calgary (Tsuu Tsina Nation) / Canada
International Muay Thai Championships
Canada vs. Thailand and Korea
It's Back!
It is with great excitement that the Calgary Amateur Kickboxing & MuayThai Association (CAKMA), the Calgary SUN, and CJAY 92 presents the return of World Class Muay Thai to Calgary on the 19th of November, 2005. This event promises some of the best fights seen in Calgary in several years. 'Never Surrender' is the 26th event to be sanctioned by the Canadian Muay Thai Council - Amateur (designated Canadian Representative of the International Federation of MuayThai Amateur, World MuayThai Council and World Kickboxing Association).
Calgary has been anticipating the return of quality Muay Thai for 6 months since the last successful and sold out Muay Thai event, 'Reserve Judgment' rocked the Sportsplex. This event is being filmed for television.
Featured on 'Never Surrender', three top ranked Canadian athletes take on National Muay Thai Champions from Thailand. Calgary's JESSE MILES, JASON CUTBILL, and PHIL LEIER take on Thailand's ARTIT SRISOMBOON, WORAWIT SINGIN, and PANUPUN TANJAD respectively.
Since Muay Thai is from Thailand, Thai athletes are looked upon as being the best athletes in the world and they are coming to Calgary to prove this and uphold their national reputation. The Canadian athletes average around 15 bouts while the Thai athletes are averaging around 80 fights. There is a huge difference in fight experience but the Canadian athletes are up to the challenge.
Tickets are selling fast! Do not miss out on this world class event.
